Winter Waterfall

With all the preparations well in hand for Christmas, we had every excuse to get out of town today and into the countryside. Things were helped greatly by the fact that we are in between storms, so as soon as the wind abated, we were off to Glendalough where we cut the planned walk short in order to explore this waterfall. After an invigorating scramble through the mud and over the rocks we eventually reached high enough to be able to make some photographs of the rushing torrent.
