Collecting the Christmas berries

Decided to take a walk on the beach before work this morning and got some super seal shots.  A new baby was born on Saturday which is quite late for the seals.  A very pregnant female has also come ashore on in the bay area today so maybe a Christmas pup.  

Since I came home from work I've iced the cake, cooked a whole gammon  and am still wrapping parcels.  Why don;t I do them as I got along? Ah, I remember why, because I end up buying the same things twice !!!

All the family is home and we are looking forward to a fantastic day together.  Hope all my Blip friends have a brilliant day and if you celebrate Christmas, I hope Santa fills your stocking with the pressies you wanted.

My pic today was taken on my walk back to the car, this blackbird was eating berries and to be honest she was dropping more than she ate. I got several shots of her, some that you can see her tongue in - I only learnt that birds have tongues this year, but this is the one I like the best.
