Goodbye little ones - see you next winter

Went for a walk up to the beach today to see the remaining seals.  Only 15 left now and they will all be gone by the end of the week.  After the sad loss of so many last year it is nice to see that they have all gone when  they were ready.

It looks quite bleak up there now, only a few late stranglers hoping to catch sight of the last seals, and the seal wardens making sure that the smallest seals left are strong enough to make their way to the sea.

The rest of day was spend like a bank holiday should be, quality time with the kids watching trashy movies.  

A nice start to the new year.
