Simplicity

Five painted letters on one of the YMCA's childcare center windows stopped me short this morning.

Such a simple, quiet word, one to ponder during this busy, joyful time.

I hope you enjoy this brief peaceful musical treat, "Carol of the Birds," arranged by musician Nancy Rumbel, performing on ocarina, oboe, bell, and harmonium. She's accompanied by a diverse group of feathered friends, including an American Goldfinch, Red-Winged Blackbird, and Mourning Dove.
