Twelve Days of Christmas

On the twelve days of Christmas, among other things, we had:

One holiday party
One tree with birds' nests
Two dogs in a  dirt mud pile
Countless muddy towels
Fourteen inches of rain
Three batches of gingerbread/2 gingerbread houses/one candy store run
Two happy kids/one happy Ahmi
Fifty trips to the grocery store
Four trips to the post office
Five visits with old friends
Twenty yards of gift wrap
…and a woodpecker in a palm tree
