The James Wright
I think I used the James Wright over a year ago to blip but the tide was low again today and we were there on the beach so why not use it again?!
A sailing ship that got blown onto the beach in the 1870's - with no loss of life I'm pleased to report. A decent sized boat as you can just see from the stern post in the image off in the distance.
It was one of those walks when you didn't really want to leave the warmth of the car but when you were out in it, it was great. The flat light was relieved by shafts of sunshine and even the hail didn't deter us too much.
We caught up with the Cackling Goose and a new American Wigeon and a venison feast to return to so life can't be too bad.
