Hunter gatherers

Christmas Day dawned bright and windless, albeit late - this blip was taken at 9:25 am. So calm it was that the lobster pots could be deployed for the first time, a job requiring the two kayaks. Off go the two DSs to the great lobster fishing grounds at the end of the bay and tomorrow I am sure it will be lobster for lunch. After today's lunch - a wild goose within a duck within a turkey - the light relief of a bit of lobster will go down well.
This had at least been offset by a stroll on Baleshare beach at midday where fortuitously and, to us, totally unexpectedly there was a party in the car-park on our return and we managed to snaffle a glass of champagne.
Traditional Christmas evening slumped in front of the TV watching Gone Girl - the slumping being the traditional bit rather than Gone Girl.
