...finally comes tonight.  But in the meantime we had a day with plenty to do.

The meringue was a disaster - going with plan C - a more deconstructed look will be the aim to cover the mess for tomorrows dessert (think berries, cream & chocolate)
A quiet day of quality time with the grand folks for littleMissDuo - reading, games, music, swimming & the garden.  After the meringue PlanA failed & whilst awaiting the oven - the thermomix was already dirty, there was mint in the garden & kaffir limes on the tree - so we made them into mojitos.... see exhibit1

Heading over to the cousins* in the afternoon for dinner & Santa preparation (the man needs an entrance after all). More smoked foods (no really, why cook any other way), wine & laughs before retiring to the pool room
