'Christmas Day Blip Meet'

At the Rosewarnes house.

After a really late night last night, we were woken this morning by Miss Bella at around 7am who came into our bedroom as told us that Santa has visited, but he didn't leave any presents because he had eaten the fruit mince pie and drank the milk they left out for him. So she hopped into bed with us and napped for another half an hour before Dylan woke up and discovered that Santa had actually left some presents for them.
The next half an hour was unwrapping them all and writing down who all of the gifts were from so that tomorrow they can write thank you notes to everyone.

Then the lunch prep began with getting our first Christmas roast turkey stuffed and into the oven early.

MsMuns family arrived around 11:30am followed by our UK Blippers CharlotteJ & ChrisC who not only joined us for lunch, but helped prepare and serve it. Everyone chipped in and helped out today and all of the food was absolutely delicious. I can say that our first roast turkey was a success, which blended beautifully with the sone fruit salad it was served alongside. We finished lunch with a scrumptious Pavlova which uncle Sang had made. Mmmmmmm.

After lunch and some more present opening, we went for a walk through the back paddock hoping to find some roos, but no luck. The walk back up our street was hard on a full stomach and in full streaming sunshine, but still a nice walk to help digest the lunch.

After cleaning up the kitchen MsMun and I managed to lie for for an afternoon nap which was nice while the kids played on their new games. Ready to do it all again tomorrow now at Auntie Maree's house.
