'Christmas Version 2.00'

At Aunty Maree's house.

After bacon and eggs for breakfast we headed out to Aunty Maree's house for a Christmas get together for everyone on Dad's side of the family.

Maree & Doug had their pool heated up for the kids who enjoyed a play in the pool for an hour or so while we were waiting on the beef, lamb & pork on the spit to be cooked. The outside temperature today was quite cool, but the water in the pool was sitting at a beautiful 30 degrees.

We had to wait much longer than anticipated for the meat to be cooked and ended up eating lunch at around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, but the wait was worth it. Beautifully roasted tender meat, salads, roast potatoes followed up by 3 or 4 different types of cakes. Again heaps of food was consumed.

Really great to catch up with all of my Aunts, Uncles, cousins and Nana Mac of course and share the day with them all.

We ate drank, chatted, watched the Boxing day test match at the MCG and the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race on TV.

Here is Thomas making huge bubbles and his little brother Noah looking on in the background in amazement. One bubble had just popped while the one behind it is still intact.
