Forty WInks

Phew, unwrapping of presents supervised and wrapping paper duly ripped to shreds.   Cooking of Christmas dinner closely scrutinised and floor cleared of any spillages.   Nannie warmly welcomed with lots of 'hugs and kisses'.   Queens Christmas Message watched and noted that Nannie quite liked the Queens's pretty dress.   Now a boy just has to have forty winks after such a busy morning, and just in case anyone thinks they are  going to steal my favourite present from Santa I'll lie on it.
And yes, Nannie thoroughly enjoyed her Christmas Dinner and was very appreciative of the lovely presents and cards (especially the hand made one from Alfie) that she was given.
