Gooma has landed

The wee man didn't quite understand what was happening today.  He loved the attention, the ribbons and the wrapping paper but he was quite happy to play with one present at a time, rather than opening them all at once.


We try our hardest not to spoil him but I've got to admit that it's hard.  We don't worry too much about indulging him with books but we try to avoid excessive toys (especially plastic ones).  Hopefully we're doing OK.

Once we'd exchanged gifts, I drove up to LA to pick up Gooma.  Arriving from Australia, she'll be staying for almost six weeks, helping us transition to being a four person family.  We're going to need it!
