Merry Christmas...

... one and all.
Up and into the day by preparing the lovely ham bought from happy free range pig farm, Havoc.  This year I made a basting sauce of sweet chilli, lemon, lime and a little soy sauce with cloves and star anise to add another flavour level and decoration.
Sat down to a full Christmas lunch with the ham and a lovely moist turkey and all the trimmings with meringue, red and green jelly, fresh berries, icecream - and extra cream "if one really must".
Home mid afternoon for a nana-nap and a lazy evening of the Queens message and the movie 'Quartet' which was wonderful.
