Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat

Christmas day I took a quick 1/2 hour walk up the Braid Hills for my Christmas blip. It did mean I missed the Queen's Speech. However, daylight at this time of year, this far north, and with blue skies, is in short supply. The weather is much nicer than yesterday's. On the top of the hill, grass frost is still evident.

Looking north, the orangey-yellow light of a sun sinking fast picks out the Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat. People can be seen walking on top of the Crags and Arthur's Seat. In front is Blackford Hill, the green roof of the Observatory can be seen centre right.

At the bottom, the low winter sun means the northern slopes of the Braid Hills are in shadow. Better get home. Processing this picture, I realise the camera is still in Summer Time. Better fix it.
