The Sound of Silence

To avoid that flat feeling after a full on day yesterday we decided to drive down to the coast. When I was child living by the seaside we would always walk along the seafront on Boxing Day and, according to my parents, 'blow away the cobwebs'.  Today it was calm but jolly cold and there were few people around, but it was a tonic and a lovely peaceful moment in an otherwise busy Christmas time.
