Buzz and Flash
This evening the great tits allowed me to crouch on the ground in front of their nest box and take photos. I think they're so desperate for insects this evening that they decided to risk me seeing where they keep their babies.
It was such a buzz and I'm only sorry that none of the photos came out. They're fast movers! Two photos were good enough, however, for me to show Tess one of the parents going in and out.
I announced the first one by saying, 'This photo is called "Tit Bum".'
On seeing the second one, Tess's response was, 'And I suppose that one is called "Tit Face". '
But, of course! :o)
Tit face - What a great name for a blip!
I was standing next to the apple tree while trying to photograph the great tits so thought I'd sneak in a quick bee on apple blossom shot just in case the tits went belly up...
Or arse over tit...
Emergency shot turned out to be only shot, unfortunately.
Ah well.
Today's been an interesting day.
It's National Flash Fiction Day at last and things have been going on up and down the country - and indeed around the world.
I'm glad to have played my little part in the first ever of these and I'm quite certain there will be many many more.
Tonight people are celebrating and flashing and getting together and I'm going...
...to do an online grocery shop - whoopee...
(And shut myself in a room away from the TV and play loud music and drink wine while The Apprentice is on)
I have written about 2/3 of my End of Module assignment and am enjoying waffling.
When it's finished I will have to delete about 1,000 words of waffle-tosh
Oh. Here's just one of the many many amazing things organised for today: Flash Flood Journal
One of mine is in there somewhere.
