Afternoon glow

It has been a productive day here in the frozen north. After slithering up the hill with the woofers this morning, I returned home and my beautiful fiancée and I set about some gardening. It wasn't so much gardening as deforestation. I slashed, she burned.
Rain stopped play at lunchtime and I headed off with the dogs after lunch, expecting to get soaked. The weather was kind to me, with beautiful light and fabulous skies. Another perfect day in Orkney.
