Reflections

It is that time again when we reflect on the year we have had.

It is much easier with blip providing a permanent record and social media offering our "year in review" at the tap of a screen.

One such suggestion was that my "post of tbe year" was in August when I posted a photo of me with Jo Pavey at the Commonwealth Games. The reaction on blip and Facebook was enough for me to concur with the suggestion.

Around that time I heard my "conversation of the year"

A man was pushing his elderly relative in her wheelchair, to which she had an oxygen tube attached.

She was being somewhat cantankerous...

Man: Nan, if you don't calm down I'll tie a knot in your oxygen tube.
Nana: "I won't hold my breath. You can't even tie your show laces let alone my oxygen..."
Him: You can't even draw breath, never mind hold it"
Nana: "You've got a point there Son."

It was clearly all said and done with love and understanding of the situation.
