On board HMS Victory

HMS Victory - Nelson's flagship in the battle of Trafalgar (1815) is in dry dock in Portsmouth. We'd never got round to seeing it before and we were glad we finally made the effort - well worth it. 

The Admiral's dining room looks very civilised but when ready for battle all this kit would be stowed away, bulkheads (partitions) removed and cannons placed between the ports so that the ship could reveal its true nature - a killing machine.
