Three French Hens .......

We left East Close this morning, where we've had a really good Christmas, with the five of us being the only guests. A wedding and reception were taking place there today, fascinating to see the twelve tables for the reception laid out on the theme of the twelve days of Christmas (today of course being "Three French Hens").
Leaving we headed for my Mum-in-Laws flat, us two via Avon Beach for a quick breath of sea air - fantastic colours everywhere in the bright winter sunshine.
Our journey back this afternoon and evening was 7 hours, so very very slow. It seems the world and his wife is returning home after Christmas.
