The Square
In Glasgow today. Could hardly move in Buchanan Street in amongst the thousands of shoppers and the drum thumping, guitar strumming buskers. Visited George Square where the fairground was lit up again and it looked like everything was trying to return to normal. A short way across the road in Queen Street though, we joined a load of folk walking silently and respectfully around the huge collection of flowers and candles that have been collecting since last Monday's tragedy. Found it quite difficult to read some of the notes left to all of those involved. But, Glasgow being Glasgow, the singing of some fitba supporters heading back to the train station and then me being told off for using a tripod to take this photo by one of the City Council stewards (it was a monopod, but there was no convincing him) snapped us back to reality.
