Sumburgh Beach

Down at the airport again today this time seeing off two family members. Another walk along the beach at Sumburgh slightly earlier than yesterday and as you can see we had the beach to ourselves. The dunes on the left protect the airport from being totally sandblasted.

When the weather is like this and if you can put up with the cold Shetland is fantastic at this time of year with great light if not for very long.

No Northern Lights last night at least during my wakening hours.
