Sunrise glow

Ice cracks underfoot,
Every tiny sound resounds.
Sunrise cinders glow.


.....Just a bit too late to capture the glorious pink skies, but there were still some fading wisps ... a deliciously crisp frosty morning ...

Hope everyone had a great Christmas - this shot was on Boxing Day.

Later in the day we went to visit father-in-law  and stopped off to walk the dog at Ditchling Beacon on the way ....    but I think this was my favourite shot of the day.
