Sycamore Gap Sunset
I'm not 100% pleased with this photo but I know it's the best I can manage in the circumstances. My issue: the differing light levels. I hope I've overcome this through editing but the sky has provided a lot of frustration. Even when I did bracketed exposure photographs, the sky just seemed bland and not great - perhaps not my problem as much. For my first visit to Hadrian's Wall, however, I'm happy!
I managed a lie in until 10 and then did a little research of where was best to drive to so that we could visit Sycamore Gap, and then we were off! We took Inca with us too and she thoroughly enjoyed it. No more than 5 miles from Ponteland there was a covering of snow on the ground!
