Winter treat
It has been a beautiful frosty, sunny winter's day. The pond is iced over, and frost remained on the grass for most of the day. After church this morning, the vicar invited us back to the Rectory for coffee, home made mince pies and chocolate Florentines!
A little later, I was striding across the fields trying to shed the delicious calories I had just consumed, with Russet loving the crisp air and the frosty ground. We spent the afternoon relaxing, catching up with the papers and magazines.
I caught this sunset just after four o'clock - then it was time to switch on the Christmas tree lights and enjoy a cup of tea!
A fairly lazy Sunday after all the week's activities!
