One of the older houses in the village

Just down the hill from us is this lovely farmhouse. On a day like this it provides a really traditional image of Sweden.
The red house with white corners and frames, the sunlit snow, the fir trees dappled with snow, and the long shadows of midwinter.  Maybe this is our next year's Christmas card!
