A Different Path

Errands took us to a different neighborhood this afternoon and we decided to make the most of it and try a different walk for a change, although still on a path along the ocean. The cliffs at Pleasure Point are completely reinforced with concrete, and there are several very solid staircases providing beach access. It's a famous surf spot, but the waves were pretty flat for all the folks out there with their new gear. Lots of families out strolling, and lots of people hauling their boards up and down the steep stairs

There is a cormorant sitting on the bare branch, and there were several others keeping watch from the top of the tree.
