Today's the day .......................... to be fog bound

We've spent quite a lot of today driving through thick fog.

This was the nice bit, when there was just enough of it to give the countryside south west of Edinburgh a dreamlike quality.

By the time we reached the motorway, full beam and fog lights were necessary and a freezing, swirling mist closed in around us .............................
