Tractor Santa

Today was brill! Quick tidy of the house, some making of last minute christmas presents for the grandparents and who should knock on our door but Father Christmas and Rudolph on his tractor?!!! He had some sweeties and a big smile for us all.  I love living here!

A parcel arrived from family in America with last minute tree deocorations and some stockings to hang

Later we went with our neighbours to the Nativity reenactment in the village.  A real donkey, real knocking on doors to be told there was no room in the inn and real singing in the church.  And real actual baby awaking (our baby) while we sang Silent Night.  Very magical.

Then back to the neighbours who kindly made up shepherds pie.  Gutted as J missed it as he ended up at his dads who's still unwell.  J got back just in time to hang the stockings and read the bedtime story.
