Suddenly

Tonight, suddenly Marley came down sick.

I was getting dinner ready and when I called to Marley he didn't respond, he looked like he was just comfortable watching TV but actually he was sound asleep.

When Andre picked him up to carry him to bed he noticed mar was burning up. We took his temperature and it was 38.9.

We put thin cotton pj's on him and ran a wet lukewarm cloth around his hairline, neck and face. We gave him panadol and he has been asleep since.

He's sounding really chesty and I have been wondering if from the other day when he was really cold if he's got sick.

2 nights ago i noticed he was wheezing so gave him his inhaler 3 or 4 times. His asthma tends to flare up only really when he's sick

I also wonder if that's why he's been so quiet today.

I'm watching him and regularly taking his temperature, it's been an hour and dropped a degree and he seems to be sweating it out but I have a bag packed in case we have to make a trip to after hours or hospital.

Hoping he'll recover quickly.
