Redpoll (Carduelis Flammea)

A not terribly good shot taken through the living room window.  Redpolls have been absent from the feeders this winter and suddenly we have a flock of 6 which have been there on and off all day.

Redpolls are notoriously difficult to separate the various sub groups so I haven't tried.  I have used the shot mainly as a record of when they appeared than for any photographic merit so that accounts for the not terribly good quality.  At least that's my excuse and I am sticking to it :-)
