Dogwoods in Mote Park

Went for a swim first thing, then it was time to unwrap a few Christmas presents that had accumulated under the tree before we left for Edinburgh and arrived while we were away. There was a nice bottle of Highland Park 12 year old Scotch Whisky from my son in California. Very nice that will be.

As it was another beautiful sunny day we decided to walk into town to pay in a few cheques and for Susan to have a look at the Sales. The former was accomplished but not the latter and on top of that our favourite cafe was closed for the holiday period too.

So we walked home for a slice of Tunis Cake (remember them?) and a cup of tea.
