CannyScot's Day

Feeding time down in the Ferry

A slightly milder day but not so bright.

Down in Broughty Ferry and I saw these swans and birds being fed by a kind lady (who is just out of shot). It doesn't take long for them to gather - a few screeches and all their mates are there in a flash. Noisy, but not as disturbing as the howling of wolves in the amazing BBC documentary last night by the brilliant Scottish cameraman, Gordon Buchanan. If you want to see it on BBC iPlayer here is the link.

Today is the last full day before our Essex family leave for home. They will finally arrive at their home train station at 11.45pm, just before the end of this year. It has been a good family and friend's time since Jackson arrived on the 10th December. As far as we know, we start the New Year off on our own and our Dundee family won't be back until Sunday 11th January. What will we do with ourselves?
