Not so Mute!

This juvenile Mute Swan turned up at the canal about a week ago, and who knows what brought him here alone  -   but between the twitchers and  the camera enthusiasts he seems to be eating well.

Someone this morning had come down especially with food for the youngster,  but it was a case of "biting the hand that feeds you";   immediately after finishing his meal he went into a hissy fit and tried to bite his kind benefactor.  Be warned! :-))
