Only a rose.....

Not a lot  to inspire today  -   it's not really feasible to go out with a camera and so I've turned to the garden again which always seems to come up trumps.  I've been catching up on jobs today too, a bit of bookwork, some sewing and a bit of getting back to a normal routine after Christmas.  Tomorrow we'll celebrate seeing in the New Year with friends and we'll be away overnight so I really ought to have got more organised  -  but anyway I've promised myself I'll do it this evening and then tomorrow (at least in theory) there'll be nothing to do.
