Melting

It has been a beautiful day today - hoar frost and blue sky. The garden was a winter wonderland for most of the day until the sun worked it's way round, in fact it has been very difficult to choose one photo (my computer skills are insufficient to produce a collage).

The electric saga from yesterday's blip continued today with only five men working in the trench outside my house. It was so cold that I could see their breath so kept them going with cups of tea. They haven't finished yet, the boards are still over the holes though they've taken the cones away. I'm appreciating having heating and lighting in the house again!
