Late afternoon on the banks of the Avon
This is the Stratford Bandstand and the Holy Trinity Church in the lovely light of the late afternoon.
We had a walk alongside the river, and then went and sat outside (yes - OUTside) Carluccio's for a coffee and a hot chocolate. There are now types of Americano. You may be used to that if you live in a large town or a city, but us country mice thought we were being flash asking for an Americano. Now it's a decision between smooth and rich. When I were a lad (that must have been a very long time ago seeing as I'm female, but "when I were a lass" isn't quite the same) there was only one choice - Camp coffee - take it or leave it.
