Life with Alice

Neige Partout

Mum told me poodles are French. I had no idea. I've never been French in my life. Just to check, I tried if I knew any French, and amazingly enough, I did! Of course there was snow everywhere, I had to investigate.

We saw at least ten snowmen of various shapes and sizes today, and every slope was packed with kids on all sorts of sledges and toboggans. Snowmen mean the snow is of the kind that will stick to my fur and transform my paws into snowballs. Not great. Mum forgot this on our morning walk, but my sweater did an OK job.

There was a slightly worrying development on the Santa front. It turned out we had none left. Mum asked at the store, but they were Sold Out. And they only make them for Christmas, of course. Mum asked grandpa, and he miraculously had a small unopened bag left! It is now in this house, and I am Waiting.
