Sunset over the Union Canal.

A day of travelling!  Up reasonably early to take Katkatkat and G back up to Edinburgh.  It has been fantastic having them for so long and Katkatkat has been such a great help to her Mum.  Grateful thanks to the pair of you from us both.

We stopped at Annandale Water Services as is our habit and of course took some blips "just in case".  As G was driving I took the opportunity to try some experimental shots from the car, which, much to my surprise worked remarkably well.  We had lunch at Kat's flat before making a trip to the supermarket so that both households could stock up ready for the New Year Celebrations.

CC and I set off for Penrith to be down in time for evening visiting at the hospital, but not before we took the chance to get a few last shots for the day along the canal.  Of my shots for the day this one appealed to me most.

The trip down was uneventful and we arrived back in plenty of time for visiting.
