The Nick o' Pendle

This was the most walking I'd done in a while....so good to be feeling more human again!
It was extremely cold, but too good a day to waste. This is actually on the way back down from the summit of Pendle Hill, looking back down over the forrest and the villages below. The ascent was good, the summit so windy it was difficult to stand.....and the descent was incredibly slippy due to previous snow having melted then refrozen. It wasn't properly  dangerous,,, but Alf did a few Bambi impressions then eventually just flopped on his bum and did an invisible sledge job for about 20ft !!! He looked at me in total shock when he finally stopped.....a sort of " what the hell was that about  look"  !!! Hilarious. ( Alf is a dog for any new followers !)
Last blip of the year of 2014.....may I take the opportunity to wish you all a very very Blippy New Year....and good health and happiness in 2015.
