Feel the joy!

This wee character is a Danish novelty called a Hoptimist, which D#1 was given when she left Denmark. He is supposed to make you feel happy, so I thought he'd make a suitable blip as we're about to enter a new year.

I'll try adding a link about the history of Hoptimists, but am not holding my breath...
