Ionic Edinburgh

This is Edinburgh's disgrace wearing her best party frock at the end of last night's Torchlight procession. Just goes to show that even a crumbling old ruin can still tart herself up when the occasion demands.

At this rate I'll be running out of Edinburgh icons. Tomorrow I'll have to scour the city's back passages and alleyways looking for dark and gritty street photographs. After the all-night Hogmanay shindig that's currently in full swing, I'm sure there will be a few leftover frolickers littering the gutters.
