Great start to the New Year

I have not been on Summit Road (or at least this part of it, which is open to cyclists and walkers only) since the February Earthquake of 2011 so it was great to get up there early this morning. It was pretty much perfect, without the wind that has been plaguing us this summer. I felt pretty virtuous doing this instead of nursing a hangover. Probably something in that, I reckon.
