A-Maize-ing growth

We had 23 mls of rain overnight, which is wonderful for the growth of our grass, and supplement crops.  The rain has also bought the temperature down, so instead of the normal 30 odd degree temperature, we had a more respectable 20 degrees C today.  

I hadn't been down to see our Maize crop for a week, so I ventured to the paddocks this afternoon with Farmerboy.  It was amazing how much it had grown in the past week. 

I'm off to watch the Royal Variety Performance........there are so many talented people in the world!
