New Year Tui

We milked in the pouring rain this morning, and we milked in the pouring rain tonight, but in between we had intermittent fine patches, when our resident Tui arrived at our flax bush for tea. I know I have blipped Tui's numerous times, but I have to say they are one of the most beautiful birds around.

Along with the rain, it has turned cold. Where has our summer gone?
