Effective support

This is a companion blip to this one taken last December in Prague.

We are in Saumur and after a morning of rain and ferocious winds that almost blew us off the top of the chateau, are enjoying the sunshine that has eventuated. The temperature has dropped with our move northwards and the weather is far less predictable.

This statue (and a few others like it) graces a building in the main road that runs through Saumur. I quite like the way she is not only supporting the building on her head but also her breasts on her folded arms. So like a woman to be able to multi-task.
