A tasty supper of lamb and sour cherry meatballs in a tomato / garlic sauce with flatbread, a glass or two of Prosecco, some fireworks and a snifter of sloe gin - I was ready for my bed by then.

A short detour on the walk to get the free night bus home around 3.30 took me to Optical Express - probably the most high profile Cigs there is.

On a busy thoroughfare (particularly for bus routes), black on white, been there for ages - I've studiously avoided this one. Until this morning.

With my resistance lowered by sleepiness and alcohol - dear reader, I succumbed.

Black paint on white wall; triple stripes above, single underline below. No date. But probably '13.
