Obligatory

For the very first time since moving to Edinburgh 13 years ago myself an Jen were able to spend the evening together properly on Hogmanay. Last year she managed to get away from work around 10 so we managed to get to the end of the street but this time we were on the very crowded North Bridge.

Popped into the Black Bull and Theatre Royal to break up the walk and had a massive cheese board with port and X-Men: Days of Future Past (which I nodded off to about half way through).

I doubt the rest of my day will include much more than a hearty breakfast and a long appointment with the sofa.
