Happy New Year

What a great Hogmanay, an excellent early evening gig at the Reel to see the Wrigley Sisters.  Then a meal at the Ayre Hotel - hadn’t been in the Ayre for a few years so CMC had booked a table.  Met friends who were there having a meal so we had an end of year update.  We then went on to a Hogmanay dance. 

Today we skimmed past the dunes and we have first footed folk in the village and received our first foot.  All I have to do for the rest of the day is sip my whisky, work my through a casserole, tatties and cabbage and sit by the stove and read my book.  It’s going to be difficult to keep up this pace for the next 364 days.
