Frozen

Started 2015 with a visit to RSPB Old Moor with the kids and the rest of the family.  There's always a great mix of hardcore twitchers, kids exploring the paths and folks just out for a stroll.

It was a toss up between this shot of a duck on the ice or a rather striking looking woodpecker.  Either would have been a good start to the blipping year.
